This isn’t going to be an ad. You’ve seen enough of those. This is more of an ode the the past few months. Sasquatch is going to launch in the next hour. Holy crap, what a ride this has been. Remember when we first announced it (as Rhino) and said it would be done in June? Ha! We waaaay underestimated the amount of behind the scenes work that goes into making a product ready for commercial use. That’s ok. I’ve learned more in the past 6 months than I have in all 3 years of middle school combined.
In the end, I’m quite proud of what we made. Is it perfect? Not at all. There are about a thousand other features I would love to add to Sasquatch, but I don’t think delaying the release for another year would have been a good idea. Plus, there are so many other plugins that I want to get started on.
I just want to add a quick thank you to everybody that put up with our obnoxious garbage while we were putting this thing together. I know how hard it is to put up with marketing mumbo jumbo. I think my kids are more excited than anyone else to see this thing get released.
I really hope to hear people do great things with this plugin. In the end, the most important thing is that it helps you open yourself up to new creative options. I know I need a bit of a nudge every once in a while to break out of my standard procedure shell when making a new song. Sasquatch has definitely broken that shell for me. I hope it does for you too.
Well, here goes nothing…
